- What is LAUREAMKO?
The Student Union of Laurea University of Applied Sciences is also known as LAUREAMKO. LAUREAMKO takes care on student’s welfare, educational politics and atmosphere. In addition on these LAUREAMKO also arranges different kinds of events regulary. LAUREAMKO consists of The Council of Representatives, The Board, Secretaries, Local unit actors and members of LAUREAMKO.
One gets the membership of LAUREAMKO automatically while buying the student card and getting a valid sticker.
2. ANNOUNCMENTS
- "The Council of Representatives.."
LAUREAMKO Board of Representatives has its spring meeting on Wednesday 23rd of May at 17:00 in Tikkurila. Issues on the agenda include among others the report of activities from the last year. All members of the Student Union are welcome to the meeting.
3. BUY X SELL X CHANGE
- Get yourself a student card, right at the start of your studies!
Each student needs a card that entitles you to all the general student discounts and benefits. Get yourself a student card from your own Student Union laureamko and you don´t need any other cards throughout your studies! The student card and membership fees are reasonable and card benefits pay for themselves in their best in a couple of weeks! You save money in everyday shopping, travel, hobbies, and the sooner you order the card the bigger are the savings as well.

• fill out the student card application
• add digital photo of yourself
• pay the card- and membership fee
using your online bank access or
use the bank transfer
The Student Union LAUREAMKO is currently developing its student card services and new benefits. Therefore, you should actively keep an eye on our website and bulletins!

Lenni is a mascot of LAUREAMKO and loves good food and awesome parties. Lenni has an own corner at LAUREAMKOs website, where you’ll find for example the weekly menu at your unit. You’ll find Lenni from Facebook aswell. Ask Lenni to be your friend and you’ll be the first to know of all the good staff you’ll need to have to have fun as well. It’s best to check all this before the school starts, because the crazyness is at it’s hottest at fall. Remember to ask for help, because Lenni is there for you!
