Protection of Interests

The most important task of the Students' Union LAUREAMKO is to promote the interests of the students in Laurea University of Applied Sciences. LAUREAMKO works to improve both educational and social affairs. The most visible part is the work of student representatives in the administration of Laurea. LAUREAMKO also is trying to influence cities and areas where Laurea’s students live and study.

LAUREAMKO is a member of SAMOK which is a Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences. SAMOK is a national interest and service organization independently administered by students in universities of applied sciences
