Requirements for getting a student card
Before you fill in the form to become a member of LAUREAMKO, get to know the requirements that need to be fulfilled. If you do not fulfill all the requirements to get a blue student card, look the requirements for the green student card.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BLUE STUDENT CARD
(Full-time students)

The student has enrolled him/herself present at Laurea University of Applied Sciences for the academic year (or part of it)

He/she is studying at the basic degree-awarding education producing for instance titles Bachelor of Business Administration (AMK). For exchange students this includes degree awarding education in their home country.

The student does not have an earlier higher degree from a higher education institution.

The student is not studying by apprenticeship contract nor the studies are included to the staff training or labour education.

The student is performing full-time studies.

The student has no income from a permanent position or from a permanent job.

The student becomes a member of the Student Union of Laurea University of Applied Sciences LAUREAMKO.
- The regular duration of the studies of the student is min. 8 months. For exchange students the 8-month duration includes studies in home country and in Finland. Note, all the exchange students are normally full-time students and can have the blue card!

The student commits him/herself to return the student card when he/she does not fulfil these requirements any more.
REQUIREMENTS FOR GREEN STUDENT CARD
(Part-time students)
- The student has enrolled him/herself present at Laurea University of Applied Sciences for the academic year (or part of it)

The student becomes a member of the Student Union of Laurea University of Applied Sciences.

The student commits him/herself to return the student card when he/she does not fulfil these requirements any more.
